Righteous Nutella Iced Coffee

Looking to drive away those mid-week blues? Got kids at home? Treating someone special? Nursing a broken heart or just some much deserved self pampering? This sinful iced coffee is your solution to EVERYTHING. It’s was mum’s birthday two days ago and since she is forever watching what she eats, I decided to whip this up for her as she spent an hour of her special day walking on the treadmill! I really don’t know how this (super)woman does it!

P.S You will have to run for a couple of more kilometres to burn these calories! I do promise though that every sip will be worth it.

This recipe serves 2.

2 cups milk
6-8 ice cubes
2-3 tsp instant coffee powder (I used Nescafe)
5 giant tbsp Nutella
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Chocolate chips, cherries, chocolate sauce, or chocolate vermicelli for topping

1. Add the milk, ice cubes, coffee powder and Nutella into a blender and blend on a high speed for a couple of minutes (longer, if your Nutella has hardened). That’s it!
2. Keep in the refrigerator to chill.
3. Serve in a tall glass. Fill 3/4th of the glass with the coffee and the rest with a scoop of ice cream. Top it up with chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, vermicelli, or whatever you like.

Quick Tip:

You may want to add sugar depending on how sweet you like your coffee. I recommend not more than 1-2 tsp.
