Durham diaries

I left home for the first time in 2012 and went away to undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world, to pursue my Masters degree – Durham City, United Kingdom. Tucked away in North East England, Durham is everything you’ve read about in charmingly illustrated books as a child – cobbled streets, quaint cafes, historic structures, red telephone booths, fish and chips, friendly faces, hot chocolate, cookies and gingerbread houses.  This immensely historic and beautiful little town, my University and all the amazing people I met here have made me the person I am today, someone I am really proud of being. Nothing in the world compares to this place and it will forever hold an extremely special place in my heart. Like I always say, it maybe a tourist destination for many, but to me, it will always be home <3.

I thought it would be great to share with you all a little glimpse of my picturesque town through this gallery. Enjoy 🙂

The Durham Cathedral and Castle are a UNESCO World Heritage site. Parts of the Harry Potter movie were shot here 🙂
